About

This workshop provides an introduction to a core set of futures thinking approaches and tools. Through practical exercises, participants will delve into the Futures Wheel to explore the potential consequences of trends and events, use the Three Horizons Model to understand and plan for different timeframes, and examine how Scenario Planning can help envision and analyse future scenarios to identify risks and opportunities. Through collaboration and group discussion, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the forces shaping our world and how we can develop the ability to envision and plan for alternative futures.

A feature of the workshop is the opportunity to explore and plan for the integration of futures thinking approaches into primary and secondary classrooms, and leadership practice.
